NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed on the first reading at a regular meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Mullica, held on February 2, 2026.  Ordinance #03-2026 was approved for final adoption after public hearing at a meeting of said Township Committee held in the Mullica Township Elementary School, 500 Elwood Road, Elwood, New Jersey, on February 27, 2026 at 7:00 P.M.  A copy of this Ordinance is available online and a copy shall be made immediately available at the Township Clerk’s Office in the Township Municipal Building located at 4528 S. SEALED BID SOLICITATION FOR LEASE OF TOWNSHIP PROPERTY AS PER N.J.S.A.40A:12-14

 

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Mullica, Atlantic County, State of New Jersey, at its offices located at 4528 S White Horse Pike, PO Box 317, Elwood, NJ 08217, on or before Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 10:00 am, prevailing time, for sealed bids for the lease of Township Property known as Block 10802 Lot 1 (4619 White Horse Pike) in the Township of Mullica, County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey.

 

The lease will be awarded to the highest bidder, subject to the Township of Mullica reserving the right to reject any and all bids.  Respondents shall include in their proposals a detailed description of the proposed use of the property, the proposed lease term and a monthly or annual lease payment, as well as any other monetary or non-monetary considerations that may be beneficial to the Township.

 

The successful bidder will be required to obtain all necessary State and Local permits and approvals, provide adequate insurance coverage naming the Township of Mullica an “Additional Insured” and furnish a maintenance bond in an amount to be determined prior to the effective date of the lease.

 

Hand-delivery of proposal packages is recommended.   The Township assumes no responsibility for delays by any carrier, mail service, or delivery service that result in the proposal being received after the stated due date and time. Any proposals received after the deadline, whether by mail or otherwise, will be deemed non-responsive. No proposals will be accepted after the date set forth above. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive any immaterial defect or informalities as permitted by law.
